Leadership of the Classroom

Developing as an effective leader of learning: building from behaviour management and delving into the psychology of classroom leadership.

This session will explore and develop the leadership skills which facilitate an effective learning environment that provides psychological safety for all pupils.

Claire Garton is Instructional Coach at The Oxford Academy and an experienced teacher of English. Alongside her coaching role with colleagues at every stage of their career, Claire has mentored extensively on Initial Teacher Training programmes and within the Early Career Framework.

This session is being run twice throughout the day, the morning session is 09.15 – 11.45am and the afternoon session is 1.15 – 3.45pm, please select which session you want to attend when making your booking.

This session is suitable for Teachers in all phases.

Refunds

No refunds will be given with less than 30 days notice.

In the event of a refund request, please note that the Eventbrite booking fee of 6.95% plus 0.59p per ticket is not refundable.

To keep our event fees as low as possible, we are not able to issue invoices for payment by cheque or bank transfer and we are not able to reserve places without payment.

We strongly recommend that you take out ‘event ticket insurance’ which may cover the cost of your fee should you be unable to attend the event.
