Latest Corona Virus Grants available in the UK
As per 20 August 2020:

Commonwealth Foundation (the UK & the Commonwealth): To come to the aid of Commonwealth civil society organisations during the Covid-19 crisis, the Commonwealth Foundation is issuing special grants. As per this, an amount between £10,000 – £30,000 is available for non-profit civil society organisations that are registered. These are for all members of the Commonwealth States as support for any national initiatives working with the government to further support policies, practices and institutions in the rebuilding and recovery phase. An application filed should be COVID-19 related situations and response. These can be filed from 1 pm onwards to 1 pm on 18 September 2020.

Arts Council of Wales:

The council has instituted a Cultural Recovery Fund for the Arts and is providing a grant of £2 in support of art organisations. This is for those that are directly impacted by COVID-19 and attempting to sustain themselves unless there is public access in 2021. Through the fund for arts, an organisation can file for a grant up to £50,000 for one-off capital expenditure.  While it is viewed as a recovery package, organisations are expected to sign off on a new ‘Cultural Contract’ to work for diversity in workforce, management and programmes. The last date for applications is 09 September 2020 until 5 pm.

The Art Fund :

The institution is sponsoring the Art Fund’s Respond and Reimagine Grants that enables libraries, galleries, archives and public museums in the UK to file for grants up to £50,000 to face the challenges created by COVID as well as find new and innovative ways to work. These grants are beneficial for being able to offer immediate support related to reopening, planning, training, equipment etc. for future activities, while helping to prepare for the future. Application can be filed until 12 October, 2020.

Independent Age: The Independent Age Grant Fund offers grants of £5,000 – £15,000 for UK charities that cater to old people. They are the worst affected by the COVID-19 virus. The £760,000 Grant Fund prioritises those organisations that work for older people with additional needs and under the threat of being neglected or forgotten. The funding must ensure that these critical services continue giving support, advice, practical help and opportunities to the elderly and the needy. An organisation’s annual income should be less than £1 million and a minimum of one paid staff member. The request must be for adequate funds to cover them for the coming six months. The last date for applications is 9 am on 11 September 2020.
