Diversitas: Expanding Diversity in Wealth Management

Diversitas is a financial knowledge symposium bringing leaders in financial planning and wealth administration together with career influencers (people who advise and encourage both students and career-changers about career choices) and diversity and inclusion thought leaders-along with university and high school students who are exploring the industry and profession. These groups will work together to build professional hope for young people and career changers in an industry that is working diligently to be fully inclusive during Diversitas.

The Financial Planning Program of the University of Akron’s College of Business Administration is responsible for developing and managing this important event. The symposium will take place at UA’s Student Union on March 19, from 8 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Registration check-in begins at 7:30 a.m. Meet some of the most successful finance professionals in the industry and learn what firms and individuals are doing to help generate broader interest in such a rewarding discipline.
